Pipework Inspection And Testing to IGE/UP/1 (and 1A)

To ensure that your installation pipework is maintained in a safe condition, as detailed in the current Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, we advise that all pipework installations be inspected and tested on an annual basis, normally at the same time as the annual appliance service.

However, some larger premises require specialised service engineers to undertake strip down work on steam boilers etc. In these circumstances, Comgas can offer a Pipework Test and Inspection as a 'stand alone' service.
